The city of Brussels, known as the French Bruxelles and the Dutch Brussel, is the capital and most important city of Belgium. Brussels, one of the three federal regions of Belgium, is also the capital of this region. The native language of the population is generally French. Dutch-speaking people also live in the city. For this reason, the official languages of Brussels are French and Flemekçe. Its sister cities are Atlanta Georgia, Berlin, Kiev, Madrid, Beijing, Washington and Ankara.
There are many important museums and art galleries in the city. The Musical Instruments Museum is one of the city’s most interesting sites, located in the immediate vicinity of Mont Des Arts. The Royal Museum of the Armed Forces and of Military History is a historical and military museum. In this museum; weapons, uniforms, vehicles. The Mannekien Pis Statue is the most famous landmark in Brussels. Made of bronze and 61 cm tall, the statue portrays a boy peeing to the fountain. According to the legend, the child in the statue thus neutralized a bomb during the war.
Other important works of art in the city are: Atomium, built in 958, is a monument in Brussels. It was designed by André Waterkeyn and is 102 meters high. Another favorite place for tourists is the Grand Palas. Known as the center of Brussels, this square has many attractions. Another important point is the Royal Palace of Belgium. Close to this building is the parliament building.

Brussels is known for its large green areas. There are many parks and Sonian Forests worth seeing. Beech and oak trees live mainly in the Sonian Forest. This forest is known as a very famous place to watch the sunset. Some of the most famous parks in Brussels are Bois de la Cambre, Petit Salon Square, the Mont Des Arts garden and the Park du Cinquantenaire.
A few foods are very famous in Brussels. The most important of these is chocolate. Brussels chocolates are famous worldwide. French fries are consumed a lot in Brussels. Potatoes served with meat and sauce are popular with the Brussels people. Another famous food in Brussels is mussels. You can find mussels all over the city. Belgian beers with more than 100 varieties are also important in the city.

Aynı zamanda NATO’nun Merkez Karargahı da Brüksel’de bulunur.
Nüfusun anadili genel olarak Fransızca olarak kabul edilir. Aslında kentte Felemenkçe konuşan insanlar da yaşamaktadır. Bu sebeple Brüksel’in resmi dilleri Fransızca ve Flemekçe şeklinde resmileşmiştir. Brüksel’in kardeş şehirleri ise Atlanta Georgia, Berlin, Kiev, Madrid, Pekin, Washington ve Ankara’dır.
Brüksel kentinde birçok önemli müze ve sanat galerisi yer almaktadır. Aynı zamanda Silahlı Kuvvetler ve Askeri Tarih Kraliyet Müzesi ise tarihi ve askeri bir müzedir. Bu müzede; silahlar, üniformalar, araçlar bulunmaktadır. Bir efsaneye göre, heykeldeki çocuk bu şekilde savaş sırasında bir bombayı etkisiz hale getirmiştir.

Bu orman, günbatımını izlemek için oldukça meşhur bir yer olarak bilinmektedir.
